For every man, one of the best parts of his life is proposing to his girlfriend – that is, if the girl says yes. What if the girl says no? or what if something goes wrong with your proposal? That is what happened to Reed Harris of Farmington, New Mexico, when his then girlfriend Kaitlin Whipple swallowed the engagement ring when he put it in her thick milkshake.

The engagement ring was seen in an X-ray and was removed two days after the proposal. “It arrived this morning and I have never been so excited about my bodily functions. Haha. It’s so beautiful and I love it. It was definitely well worth the wait.” Kaitlin said in her blog.

Kaitlin finally got her engagement ring and said yes. This was one of the rare proposal moments where one thing starts out bad or funny and turns out to be sweet and nice.
