Jal Joshua Lebumfacil, a 12-year old Filipino-Australian, placed second to Mark Vincent in the recently concluded 2009 Australia’s Got Talent. The performance was done last April 15 but the winner was just announced yesterday, a week after.

“You’re really awesome. I hate opera but you’re really good.” This is what Jal told to Mark right after the announcement of the winner.

We’ve all been hearing about singing sensation Charice Pempengco as she has been getting popular not only in the Philippines but also in the United States but it’s also good to take a look around the world as there are a lot of talents coming from the Philippines. Jal Joshua is one and I’m sure there are more out there that are waiting to be discovered.
