I’d like to say that yes, I know that I’ve been Missing In Action or should I say Missing in Blogging or do I miss blogging. How about Miss me blogging? Bah! The important thing right now is I’m back and to start the 2010 (even if 2.5 weeks have gone by) I’d share with you what I got from Christmas 2009.

Well, I got this Purple Card by Stores Specialists, Inc. If you don’t know what that company is, well, they practically handle most of the boutiques in the malls we see – Kenneth Cole, Lush, Nine West, Lacoste and the other 10,000 (jk!) we see.

So what is The Purple Card? Basically it is an electronic gift card that can be used in the stores below:

I have always been a music lover and I’ve always believed that there are only two songs in the world: good songs and bad songs. Really. So I believe that even if I don’t like some of the artists in the top 10 below, they must be producing good songs right? Well, I guess. No wonder they’re being bought – legally.

Here we go, according to Odyssey Music and Video store chain’s sales register, here are the best selling top 10 Albums and top 10 OPM albums spanning the week of May 11-17.

I think Lenka’s The Show song is cool

Lately I’ve been hearing this catchy song on the radio and for some reason they won’t say who sang the song and what the title of the song is. Thanks to the internet I found the video and of course, even the lyrics. Well, I’m talking about the song by Lenka called “The Show.”

As for my thoughts regarding its video, I just think the quick jump by Lenka would have been portrayed in a better way. The song is a very catchy song but the video doesn’t really justify it. The only part I love and I feel fits the song’s beat is the part when she rides a bike. It just feels relaxing like the song. Well, everyone is a critic right? The Pussycat Dolls Live in Manila 2009

The Pussycat Dolls will be back in Manila after having their first concert here in 2006. This time they will be having their concert on June 11, 2009 at the Mall of Asia. Their concert will be entitled “A Clear Doll Domination.”

It’s Star Trek week as we all know as the 11th movie just opened last weekend to a record sale of $76,500,000. We saw old fans, soon-to-be fans, just-became fans and fans who are fans but are just denying it. I’m in the middle as I just enjoyed the movie. But where are my other just-became fans of Star Trek? Cassie, is that you?

In 2008, Fil-American Cassie (Cassandra Ventura), made her debut on the big screen in a movie called Step Up 2 the Streets (sequel to Step Up). She played the role of Sophie Donovan and even recorded a song called, “Is it you?”

In 2009, it looks like she has done not only a remix to the title but also to her hairdo called “Cassie, is it really you?”

Yes, it’s her. And this is what she had to say.

Sometimes in life, you need a change. Something deeper than what you thought you were capable of. Something that displays the “I don’t give a fuck” attitude that was always present, but never showcased. Miakka Lim is the daughter of former PBA player, Frankie Lim and a former DLSU lady spiker. Catch her on the latest issue of Uno Magazine’s April Issue.

Do you realize what this means? Miakka Lim will always be a girl. In any given situation she will always retain her girl-ness, as it were.
